my new stove is in ...

I feel officially old to be this excited over a new stove. The control panel looks like it belongs in Jeff Gordon's racecar! The top is clean!! I mean, no spots, dots or stains! The inside is a bright blue enamel ... the LG trademark I'm told ... and also spotless! Wonder how long that will last?? I should have a contest and see who can predict that one!

There have been moments in my life when we've made a purchase that I've wondered if the item would last as long as it took to pay it off! There is much freedom in knowing that we've paid for this before even using it! No having to calculate how many hours Randy will have to work to pay it off(a little method of determining whether or not something was worth purchasing or not that prevented a good many stupid(at the very least thoughtless) purchases as we attempted this past two years to eliminate ALL credit card debt). God is good.

After a quick clean, meatloaf is baking in the oven. Potatoes will be mashed and veggies steamed when we return from the ballgame ... and cookies may even be in the forecast for later this evening! Just because we can!
