Its late and I should be in bed ...

May. 8, 2006 - It's late and I should be in bed.
But, this is the first moment of solitude I have had in what seems like WEEKS! I love the busy time of late spring ... school, in it's traditional fashion is coming to an end ... and I always have to ask myself, 'why don't we do school like this all the time??' and then I remember we haven't done math in a week! Baseball season! I love baseball season ... playing catch with AJ and being overwhelmed by the memories that playing ball afforded my dad and me. In the midst of all the stuff that life has thrown at us between now and then, those days will be the ones that linger in my heart. They are the stories I love to share. More daylight! More daylight which encourages me to linger in conversations longer, swing on the wonderful porch swing Randy found on the side of the road, painted and hung next to AJ's fort, watch the sunrise from the front window and the moon-glow across the front yard.
