COLTS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In two weeks, my hopes for a football team that I've loved for as many years as I felt like I was able to cheer for a team other than the team my dad says we cheer for ... goes to the Super Bowl.
Somehow it is poetic that they will play against the team my dad has loved all his life ... and insisted that we cheer for while we were in his house. There was no resentment over this ... only a secret joy that finally 25 years ago the Colts left Baltimore in the dark of night to arrive in Indianapolis that we finally had "our own team"! I always like them ... though sometimes secretly ... and then they drafted Peyton Manning ... and the deal was sealed.
SO ... I think there will be much to ponder over the course of the next two weeks. All I have to say for now is:
