Field day is over

and somehow as the rain over took the event and 60 degree temps fill the day and the forecast for the next week; it felt like summer slipped into my heart. It was cold and rainy and WAY FUN today. Parents helped, kids cooperated, teens helped littler kids! Laughter was ample, smiles and friendship were shared among young and young at heart. It makes me love this group of BHEA all the more. Friendships I want to foster for myself and my AJ. It makes me want to do a better job of bring us all together more often. I'm afraid that so often I let life slip in and get so cluttered that I forget that relationships are what we're called to ... not what I think of as bump and run encounters!
