Jul. 6, 2006 - All is right with the world
Tonight, my husband is home, my nieces and nephew are downstairs with AJ playing ... even at 11:30 pm ... and my world is at peace. Giggling, and at times downright belly-laughing echoes through the rooms of the house when they are together. If we had a dictionary that made noises when you looked at the word ... this is what you would hear when you looked up JOY!

2006 is the odd years for our kids. When AJ turns 11 in September, he and Jessie will be 11, Katie turned 13 on Wednesday, Scott is 15 and Tisha is 17. What a blessing it is that they care so deeply for one another. There has been fishing, waterguns, trampolines, tag, Xbox, The Patriot and watermelon on the agenda today! Yesterday was full of blueberry picking, pie making, dog washing and basketball. Who knows what tomorrow holds, but contentment overwhelms me as I consider what the morning holds! I believe I'll enjoy 30 more minutes of this beautiful, cool summer evening before I crawl between the sheets and call it a day!
